Why is protein essential for fitness?

4/23/2014

Protein builds muscle and maintains it, the more protein you have in your diet, the more muscle you should carry (providing you’re exercising and doing some form of weight lifting or training) the more muscle you carry on your body the more calories you burn throughout the day with your metabolism - Burning Fat!

So next time you wonder how can I improve my diet and stop snacking? Look towards foods high in protein!

Benefits of protein:
  • It keeps you a lot fuller for longer periods of time
  • It’s the building blocks of muscle on the body
  • It helps with weight management

Common question....What is HIIT?

HIIT is a training idea in which low to moderate intensity intervals are alternated with high intensity intervals. Urvision trainers use this method of training with the majority of its clients as it is one of the quickest and most effective ways of promoting weight loss.
